A would-be stickup man’s attempt to rob a bar was foiled at the last moment. But he didn’t leave empty handed — he grabbed a jar of hot sausages on the way out. Police said the young man entered Phil’s Colonial Bar in Baltimore, Md., brandishing what looked like a handgun. The owner. Mrs. Wanda Kopera, hollered for help when the bandit appeared, and he fled — taking with him a gallon jar of sausages. His booty was worth $10.
